<p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Kate is 19
and likes a drink every now and then. She used to smoke cigarettes, but
gave up a few years ago. She has never tried any illegal drugs. </font></p>
<p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2"><br>
Kate says: “ I have never tried any of those drugs you read about.
I didn’t see the point. I started drinking alcohol in my early teens,
mostly with my parents when we were having a meal. I’ve been drunk
a few times, but never that bad, you know, falling over and being sick.
A mate of mine got so bladdered once she made a complete fool of herself.
She couldn’t even remember the next day, I think I would have died
of embarrassment! Now I have a drink about two or three times a week usually
a glass of wine, that’s all. </font></p>
<p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">I started
smoking fags when I was about 15. But I stopped just around 17 - the smell
was terrible. I spent all my time sucking mints and washing clothes. I
probably drink too much coffee and take lots of paracetamol. I always
seem to have a headache. I did read somewhere that this could be the coffee,
so I’m thinking of cutting back on that.” <br>
