<br><br><p class="artpara"><p class="artpara">Following eight years with Ken at the helm, the time has come to decide who is going to guide the London population through the next four years of city life.<br/>
<br/>
With the 2012 <a href="/">London Olympics</a> looming large on the horizon, the <a href="/">congestion charge</a> continuing to cause waves in local communities, and a rise in gun crime and drug related offences, whoever takes the reins has a huge job on their hands.<br/>
<br/>
Current media coverage is pitching <a href="/">Ken Livingston</a> and Tory candidate, <a href="/">Boris Johnson</a>, head to head as the two main contenders, with commentators dragging up the dirt on both parties. Whether it’s Ken and his team facing allegations of dodgy dealings, or Boris simply branded a fool, the media machine is in full swing. <br/>
<br/>
The most recent developments see Ken joining forces with the Green Party in order to gang up on poor old Boris - oh dear, I hope he doesn’t cry. It seems that Ken is asking all his supporters to vote Green as their second choice, and vice versa, sighting Boris as a real threat to climate change and equality in the capital. <br/>
<br/>
As Londoners, what do you think? Should Ken keep his seat? Or should room be made for new blood? Are the policies proposed addressing the real problems and issues faced by Londoners today?<br/>
