<p>My five friends and I went to Amika last weekend. There were two queues at the door, one for guest list and one regular queue, and both were quite long. There were around eight bouncers, and two women holding guests lists. They were nice, but firm about waiting your turn against the wall. Once inside, it was very crowded; Amika is clearly very popular.</p>
<p>There were three different rooms, although one, the Champagne room, is for members only. The Champagne Room was not as full, and decorated very nicely. Moet sponsors the room, and only Moet is served inside.</p>
<p>The main and largest room, the Chandelier Bar, aptly had lots of chandeliers, as well as comfortable furniture and plenty of room to dance. It featured a smoke machine, strobe lights, and confetti. (Confetti floating down with strobe lights has a neat effect!) The DJ was mixing up house beats, techno, and commercial music to make a great non-stop soundtrack for the party atmosphere that the Chandelier Bar area has. It was very full, and there were so many different good looking people to dance and mingle with.</p>
<p>The smaller room, the Cocktail Room, was mostly white, softer, had long white leather couches, and had a quieter atmosphere. It still had fun music, but just not as loud as the main room. It was a better place to strike up a conversation, or take a break from the huge party in the Chandelier room.</p>
<p>On the whole, Amika is a very stylish club with a fancy and sophisticated interior. Max the mixologist made our group delicious strawberry & basil martinis, that were creative and a refreshing change from the norm. </p>
<p>Everyone inside was well dressed and sophisticated. Amika truly caters to the sons and daughters of the elite Kensington society, but there was a mixed, fun crowd. Overall, it was a good night. I had great fun dressing up, and splurging on a quality night out. </p>

I think the club itself is great! Music outlook. I think the staff were very unhelpful as I had my bag stolen and no one would help!! I asked to see cctv due to it being such a big bag...no....So i will not be going back there again!
