<p class="health">Looking for a particular health or medical related service? Whether you are looking for advice on how to end an addiction, how to get fit or how to contact the NHS you'll find the information that you are looking for on our site.<br/>

Health and medical services are readily available to the public. Some resources run by voluntary organisations offer free advice and free services. Free helplines are also run by these organisations, as well as government-run organisations, like the NHS, and private practices too.<br/>

The NHS in particular run health services that extend into the community. If you need non-urgent transport services to get to hospital for an appointment or need care assistance in your home then the NHS can provide these services to you. <br/>
<br/>
The NHS also run a 24-hour consultancy line called NHS Direct. By phoning NHS Direct on 0845 4647 you can gain access to immediate medical advice. The operators are very knowledgeable, and in the event that they cannot answer your query directly they will find an expert who can and get back to you within minutes. If you or your child suddenly become ill NHS Direct will be able to advice you on what the illness is, whether you need to seek immediate medical assistance and what you can do to relieve the problem yourself.<br/>
