The Spectaculars are an original six-piece band from South Wales, U.K.
They have been going since January 2005.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">
</span>The music they play covers a range of styles but centre
mostly around Funk/Rock/Electronica.</font>
<p><font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Arial">Band
Members include:</font></p>
<p><font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Arial">Richard
“Toz” Torres-Vocals.<br>
Lizzy
B- Vocals.<br>
George Jones-Guitar, Vocals (Also a member of Welsh Rock Band Man).<br>
Lloyd George aka “Doktor Hotknife”-Keys, Synth, Vocals. <br>
Ed Rees, Bass, Vocals.<br>
Darren “Daz” Joseph, Drums.</font></p>
<p><font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Arial">Since
forming, the band has gigged frequently and built up a keen
following, the band have so far played: The Pop Factory, The
Inferno-Swansea, Callaghan’s-Cardiff, The Toucan Club-Cardiff.
A slew of gigs on the horizon include London, The Patti
Pavilion, Swansea (supporting Nektar) and Escape.</font></p>
<p><font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Arial">The
have been busy fly posting, organising mailing lists, trying to get
radio airplay home and aboard, getting the word around as much as
possible and are continuously booking shows. </font></p>
<p><font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Arial">The
Band recently spent time recording at Monnow Valley Studios in
Monmouth, drawing on the influences of classy alternative rock
“n” pop.</font></p>
