We're Singe, a delightful 5 piece from the depths of rural
Warwickshire in the Midlands. We've been together since 2001 and
have quite a reputation for rocking your world live with beautiful
songs ranging from sad and melancholy pop to chilled out
country vibes to blistering guitar solo rock, depending on
the mood. Drumming and bassing are provided by brothers Jamie and
David Alsop, with guitar striking and main vocal delights
supplied by cousins Joe and Stuart Alsop. And topping it off
wonderfully is Matt Whitton pounding his rhodes and adding
sublime sprinkles of backing vocal. Stupendous. In the way of
moving up that career ladder, we played at Guilfest 2005 with the
likes of Paul Weller, The Pogues and The Subways as well as
performing at the Night & Day Cafe in Manchester and have received
airplay on Radio 2XS in Sheffield and airplay in Scotland. We also
have an EP, 'Extended Play', which is lovely and you can buy at
our shows, by mailing us, or as it is soon to be, online. Enjoy.</font></span>
