            <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">this was a not so well
known ‘grunge band’ known as Nirvana. Andy was amazed</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">by
the sheer difference in their music which inspired him to pick up a
            guitar</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">and learn
how to play. As Andy was learning to play guitar he soon became one</font>
            <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">of the most popular ‘lads’
in school. By the last year of High school Andy</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">Brookes

in his year. After having left school these lads</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">continued
playing and had interest from a record label namely Sony. Due to the</font>
            <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">lack of commitment from
other band members the band split up and went their</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">separate
            ways.</font>&nbsp;<font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2"><br>
It was in October 2002 that Andy Brookes was asked to join Paul and
            Ash’s</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">band. He
was quickly informed that they were looking to write their own music</font>
            <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">and play them at venues.
            Andy attended a practice with the lads and was soon</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">taken
aback with their musical abilities. It was then when Andy decided
            that</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">this was the
band for him. With the line up almost complete the lads decided</font>
            <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">that they would need to
            draft in a bass player to complete the rhythm section.</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">The
lads then went on the search for a bass player who would fit the

familiar face walked through the door. It was Phil Pullinger,
            another</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">former

            to an ‘audition’ as a bass player.</font>&nbsp;<font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2"><br>
Phil Pullinger was bought up on the sounds of Dire straits, The

the first year of school Phil began listening to music such as ,</font>

his first guitar bought for him and learnt how to play. At the age

began playing drums for a ‘grunge band’ and slowly progressed
            into</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">a ‘Sex

            his</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">guitar and
singing. In 1995 Phil began playing Acoustic numbers in venues</font>

Phil went along to an ‘audition’ with the other lads and soon
            realised that</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">this

            the 3</font> <font color="#FFFFFF" face="Arial" size="2">piece line

was the day ‘The Light’ formed and all other bands were
