Would you like to influence the development of a well established
multi cultural OT service with clear priorities & defined budgets?
The Royal Boroughs Social Services Department needs a well organised
person to provide an imaginative, high quality OT Service to Children
with Disabilities. As a fully qualified OT with a minimum of two
years' experience, one of which involves working with disabled children,
you will already know the satisfaction to be gained from working
in the community and making a real difference to people's lives.
Being part of a multi-disciplinary Social Services Children and
Families Team and providing a specialist service to physically disabled
children and their families can be even more rewarding. In this

from families, hospitals and colleagues in housing and social services,
you will also recommend building adaptations, provide specialist
equipment and generally advise parents and carers on how best to
maximise their children's abilities. Articulate and enthusiastic,
you must be able to deal with a busy workload and conflicting priorities.
