<p><font size="1">Zero 7 have exclusively released the video to their
fantastic new single Destiny. The blessed-out tune is, for many,
the highlight of the band's debut album Simple Things. The band,
who have inevitably been dubbed Air-alikes (circa 1997), have been
nominated for the Mercury Music Awards but face very stiff competition
for 'Travis-on a Valium drip' aka Turin Brakes. </font></p>
<p><font size="1">The band has recently performed at the Shepherd's
Bush Empire alongside melodic Shoreditch sensations Simian. Simple
Things is fast becoming the soundtrack to the summer. Released in
April, the album has gathered attention throughout the last few
months, despite some publications decrying the album as overly derivative.
Destiny features the dulcet tones of Sia Furler and the record includes
a remix from the ever-listenable Photek, perfect for the long, hazy
summer days. </font></p>
<p><font size="1">The package also includes a more leftfield, jazzy
mix by Hefner. The summer months are a hive of activity for Zero
and you'll be able to catch them at festivals all over Europe. The
track Destiny will no-doubt transform them from a well kept secret
into a household name, with their gouch-out sound wafting from hair
