<p>There is a lot going on in online marketing industry in the moment, be it good work, criticism as well as debate on several topics whether social media signals would soon win the race and whether or not Google would still count backlinks that you have won</p>
<p>Well, one thing is very clear that Google has implemented strategies to help users find what they are looking for and find a thing as quickly as they can and what they have found is what actually they have been finding. As Matt Cutts said in one of his post relevancy is the main factor and then the other factor is how many votes that post has when other people have searched with same or matching query</p>
<p>If you study Matt’s statement you will see there is a hint. This does not exactly mean the same search query but several other queries that ended up having a same reason and same meaning. Well and then the time that user stayed on that website counts and if they have found that information helpful.</p>
<p>If they have bounced I would call it a bad vote and this is where SEO Companies need to do a lot in order to keep the reader to your customer sites (decreasing the bounce rate and helping people find great information is what Google want and this is something we all can do, No?) After all we are getting bucks for free too!</p>
<p>And then again if link building would be a history, well yes as Matt said yes “maybe in next couple of years” then the message is very clear, link building still counts and Google counts one authority link that you or your useful content had won a better vote than thousand of low quality votes!</p>

<p>Focus on users instead – And if you realistically look in to this factor, most SEO’s end up writing for search engines rather than writing for users</p>
